1To register for the reduced member fee, you must be a member in good standing of the International Pancreas and Islet Transplant Association (IPITA), the International Xenotransplantation Association (IXA), the Cell Transplant and Regenerative Medicine Society (CTRMS) or The Transplantation Society (TTS) or be a Scripps employee, faculty or student.

2Students and Trainees are required to submit a photocopy of their 2023 student/license ID OR an official letter on their institution’s letterhead written in English and signed by their supervisor or division or department head. The document must be uploaded online after processing the online registration. On the 'Dashboard' click on the module “Trainee/Allied Health Validation”, upload the file and save.

3Allied Healthcare Professional (AHP) are required to submit an official letter (in English) from their employer confirming they currently work as an AHP. Registration to the Joint Congress is open to all medical practitioners, researchers and allied healthcare professionals operating in the field of transplantation and associated disciplines. Registration are vetted and TTS reserves its rights to reject requests from individuals who do not match this criterion. Benefits Included in Registration Fee
Registration fees include access to all sessions and the exhibit hall, Congress Materials, Coffee Breaks, Welcome Reception and access to session recordings for 12 months after the congress.
Billing Address on Invoice
Once an invoice has been paid, the billing address cannot be modified. Please add the correct billing address before payment, as changes cannot be made once payment has been processed. When you complete your registration, you are able to print, save, and email your invoice.

Payment / Outstanding Balance

Registration fees must be paid in full in order to access the Joint Congress.

Cancellation & Refunds
To cancel your registration and receive a refund, a written request must be submitted to the Registration Coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. before October 1, 2023. Cancellation requests received on or before this date will be refunded less a processing fee of $ 75 for physicians and $ 35 for Trainees, AHP and participants from Emerging Economies. The refund will be processed after the Congress. There will be no refunds for cancellation notices/requests received after October 1, 2023. No refunds apply for no-shows.
Modifications

An administration fee of $25 USD will apply for requests received after October 1, 2023. Modifications can be made free of charge prior to this date.
Substitution
All substitution requests must be submitted to the Registration Coordinator at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. For replacement of a delegate under individual registration, written permission via email from the original registrant is required, along with contact details of the substitute delegate. The substitute delegate needs to create a user account and register for the Congress but must not pay, since the payment will be transferred from the original delegate. An administration fee of $35 USD will apply, and must be paid by the substitute delegate.
Insurance and Liability

In the case of Government intervention or regulation, military activity, strikes or any other circumstances that make it impossible or inadvisable for the Joint Congress to take place at the time and place provided, the delegate shall waive any claim for damages or compensation except the amount paid for registration after deduction of administrative expenses incurred in connection with the Joint Congress and there shall be no further liability on the part of either party. All delegates are encouraged to obtain adequate coverage for travel, health and accidental insurance before they depart from their respective countries. The organizers, their suppliers or agents will not be held liable for any personal injuries, or loss of, or damage to, private property belongings to the Joint Congress delegates.

The Joint Congress Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend, delete and add to the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.

Delegate Badge / Security
For security reasons, all delegates will be issued a badge onsite that is required to be worn at all times during the Congress and at any organized functions. Badge swapping is strictly prohibited. In the event of a lost or a forgotten badge, an administrative fee of $25 USD will be charged for the reprint of the badge after verification of identification (passport, driver’s license or other recognized identification paper).
Registration Materials
Materials will not be mailed prior to the Congress. Please bring a photo ID in order to collect the Congress materials on-site at the registration desk at the Congress venue. Note that there are no congress bags included.

Videos and Photos for Use by the Joint Congress
Joint Congress attendance implies your consent to be photographed, filmed and/or otherwise recorded for use on the Joint Congress, the IPITA, IXA, CTRMS section websites, TTS website, official social media or news publications. Please note that no session presentations will be published without prior consent of the Joint Congress or the authors.
Visa Information

An official Letter of Invitation to assist you in obtaining a visa and authorization to attend the Congress will be issued ONLY after you have registered and paid the registration fees in full.

After you have paid your registration through our conference manager website, you can fill out the form available under the “visa tab” on the registration page of our website.

Congress Policies

We strongly advocate and will enforce the TTS policies as outlined below, and request all attendees to respect these policies as part of the contractual commitment that they made at the time of registration.

Policy on Respectful Dialogue
The Joint Congress welcomes a wide diversity of doctors, researchers, scientists, nurses, trainees, and students. Participants are expected to keep criticism constructive, and avoid personal attacks during the live Q&A sessions, in online discussion boards, virtual meeting rooms and in social media. Debate of ideas is encouraged, allowing delegates to enjoy a lively and stimulating congress.
Policy on Social Media Use and Congress Web App

We encourage the use of social media (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram) and the congress web app before, during, and after the congress in order to share information and to network with others. However, we ask all congress participants to adhere to the following guidelines:

  • Whenever possible, use the hashtag #jointcongress to discuss the congress.
  • Communicate with respect and consideration for others, keeping criticism
  • Blog, post or tweet about what you are hearing and learning, but refrain from sharing information when the speaker explicitly requests this. Talks are tweetable and shareable by default, but speakers can request that specific details or slides not be shared.
  • Provide feedback to the congress committees, we encourage participants to post and discuss topics of interest as well as ideas for future meetings.
  • Do not engage in rudeness or personal attacks.
Recording of Presentations is Strictly Prohibited
No individual or entity - including a presenting author - may electronically record or broadcast any portion of the Joint Congress (including their own presentation) without prior written consent of Joint Congress. Unauthorized recording (audio, video, still photography, etc.) of presentations during virtual sessions, e-posters, on-demand library, etc., without the express written consent of the Joint Congress and individual authors is strictly prohibited. The Joint Congress reserves the rights to any approved audio and video production of presentations.
Photo Policy
Photographing formal presentations, posters, or displays without permission of the presenter is forbidden.
